About Cold Comfort
For the second year running, the adverse winter weather has
caused wide spread travel chaos, appearing to take authorities
unawares and result in wide spread public criticism.
Cold Comfort 2010, surveyor's 19th annual Winter
Maintenance conference and exhibition, is ideally positioned to
address the issues facing the industry via its comprehensive
conference programme, combined with the networking and educational
opportunities afforded by the UK's premium plant and equipment
exhibition.
We are please to announce that the results of this
year's Winter Resilience Review, lead by David Quarmby will be
discussed exclusively in the opening sessions at Cold Comfort. The
government has already called for improvements in resilience
planning and salt efficiencies and for a joint-approach to winter
service delivery.
NEW for 2010
2010 sees some important changes to the event. After listening
to delegate feedback, this year's event will run for a day and a
half, with the 15th September featuring an afternoon of
conference, demonstration and exhibition viewing, with a full day
on the 16th.
Cold Comfort 2010 - helping you maintain our highways throughout
